Podio is an online work platform with allows you to work together with a group of people or an entire company.  There are hundreds of specialized and flexible work apps with messaging, tasks, reporting, workflow, and contact management, which allow you to customize your online workplace to fit your needs.  It eliminates scattered, unorganized work routines, and replaces multiple products from other companies with a single environment and a single login.  The advantages of Podio are that it is totally customizable to the type of job you are doing.  Social Intranet - Share knowledge, see what others are working on, and connect to your co-workers to become a great team.  Collaboration - Discover the new way of collaborating across teams and organizations. Work smarter together and create more value.  Product Development- Boost your development process. Stay on top of customizable workflows. Leverage team power to create great products. CRM and Lead Management - Stay on top of all your business relations. Fully customizable to close more deals and know your customers better.  Recruiting - Manage your recruiting process in one place. Get out of spreadsheets and email and enjoy hiring the best candidates.  Event Managment - All you need to organize great events. Easily keep track of budgets, participants and your team's tasks.  To me this seems like an excellent product with plenty advantages.  At this time I can not find any disadvantages.

Clockspot

Clockspot is a time and attendance tracking service.  Employees clock in and out through an online time clock, or by using a phone.  You can authorize only certain computers or telephone numbers.   You can track sick days, holidays, vacations, etc.  You can set it up to automatically accrue paid time off or it can be entered manually.  It can also be used to calculate payroll and job costs.  Calculate regular hours, overtime, or personal time off hours.  You can get a breakdown of your online timesheet showing time spent on jobs, tasks, projects, clients, etc.  Advantages of clockspot are that employees can clock in or out of jobs by any phone or computer, which makes it perfect for businesses with multiple locations, or businesses with employees who work from remote job site, like cleaning companies, or home healthcare businesses.  Clockspot is web based so there are no software installs, no updates, and you can access it from anywhere.  The only disadvantage I see would be employees clock in work when they really aren’t on the job.

Talkto

TalkTo makes it possible to text ANY local business as easily as you text your friends.  It ensures that you can get a text response. Ask questions, book appointments, give feedback, etc.  You can text a message or question to any business in the US and you will get a response back.  Even if the business never heard of talkto they will get a hold of that business, get your question answered, and get you your response.  The advantages of talkto is if you prefer text messages over.  It saves you time that you don’t have to hunt down a business phone number or write an e-mail to get a question answered.  The disadvantages would be how do you know you are really getting the right information from the correct business you are looking for if you are contacting them personally.
